Betty L. Jackson

MARSHFIELD Betty L. Jackson, 79, of Scituate, formally of Marshfield, died suddenly August 19, 2008. She grew up on a family-worked farm in Ashby, MA. Betty was the middle child of seven siblings. She devoted most of her life to helping people as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Many knew her as a caring, loving and compassionate woman, devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading and rug hooking and visiting with her family. She will be remembered for her kindness and gentle nature. All of us who knew her believe that love outlasts death and Betty will remain in their hearts. Betty is survived by her children Dr. John S. Jackson of El Paso, Texas, Steven W. Jackson of Plympton, and Diane B. Poole of Scituate. She leaves behind eight grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours September 27, 2008 from 12:00 noon-2:00pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., (Rte. 139) Marshfield, MA.
