Laura Coyne Obituary

Laura Coyne MARSHFIELD Laura (Woodman) Coyne, of Marshfield, formerly of South Boston, was born October 4, 1944 and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 19, 2008 at age 63. Our most beautiful and giving mother and friend passed on after a two year battle with non-hodgkins lymphoma that relapsed seven weeks ago. Although Laura had a very satisfying career as a 911 Dispatcher for the towns of Scituate and Norwell, she often said that her greatest achievement in life had been raising five wonderful children. Laura leaves behind her loving family including her oldest daughter Christina Rodrigues and her husband Frank, of Marshfield, her daughter Susan Coyne and her husband Patrick McGuigan, of Marshfield, MA, her daughter Annie Coyne of Boston, MA, her son Mathew Coyne and his wife Liz of Beverly, MA, and her daughter Katey Coyne of Marshfield. Laura also leaves behind 6 beautiful grandchildren, Troy, Tony, Olivia, Griffin, Patrick, and Chad. Also surviving is her brother, Stephen Woodman, of Braintree, MA. Laura is preceded in death by her loving mother, Marie Woodman, and father, Leslie Woodman. Rest our beautiful mother as you enter heaven to be reunited with nana and grampa and know we will keep and protect your memories forever in our hearts and soul until we meet again one day. A mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd at St. Marys of the Nativity in Scituate, MA. A Celebration of Lauras life will be held immediately following the mass at St. Marys hall in Scituate Harbor. Those wishing to sign her guestbook may do so at www.caringbridge.org/visit/ lauracoyne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lauras name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston. MA. McNamara-Sparrell Brighton-Cohasset-Norwell 781-659-2200 Since 1820
