Cathleen Crowley Obituary

MASHPEE Kathleen C. Crowley, 84, of Mashpee, formerly of Randolph, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Bourne Manor. She was wife of the late William J. Crowley for 53 years. Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston where she graduated from South Boston High School in 1942. She moved to Randolph after marriage and raised her family there. She moved to Mashpee 21 years ago. She loved cruises. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Dashner of Randolph; Claire Hawes & husband, Patrick of Canton; Leo Crowley & wife, Ellen of Bridgewater; Laraine Michaelson & husband Peter of Mashpee; Diane Donovan & husband Kevin of Marshfield; Joanne Dorsey & husband Timothy of Mashpee; William J. Crowley, Jr. & wife Barbara of East Freetown; and Rita Crowley of Mashpee. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24th, from 4-8pm in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave at Route 151, Mashpee. A funeral will form Thursday at 10am in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am in the St. Jude Chapel of Christ the King Parish, 3 Jobs Fishing Rd, Mashpee. Burial will follow at 12:45 pm in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 W.
