WEYMOUTH Joseph R. Carney of Conway, SC, formerly of Weymouth, September 21, 2008. Beloved husband of Pierrette D. (Monniot) Carney. Devoted father of Joseph R. Carney Jr. of Raynham and Jean-Pierre Carney of Sudbury. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Brother of Helen Dangora of Calabash, NC, Dolores Carney of Mashpee and the late David Carney and Arleen Robinson. Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Wednesday 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, on Friday. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Josephs memory to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. Late Vietnam Veteran, U.S. Air Force. We all will miss Joe. It would be impossible to have a better next door neighbor than Joe. It will be a sad time for me next spring to plant my vegetable garden and not help Joe with his. Our thoughts and prayers are with the the family.
