BRAINTREE Katherine R. (McGovern) McAndrew, 90 years old, of Braintree, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 in Braintree after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Richard T. McAndrew. Devoted mother of Thomas J. McAndrew and his wife Joan of West Bridgewater, Joseph G. McAndrew of Braintree, William A. McAndrew and his wife Maureen of Methuen, Ann M. Lindley and her husband Woody of Nantucket, David P. McAndrew of CT, Catherine E. Fornasaro and her husband John of Marstons Mills, the late Richard T. McAndrew, Jr., Sgt., US Army, and the late Mary Beth McAndrew. Survived by ten grandchildren. Sister of the late Mary Fraser. Also survived by one niece and several nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Saturday, September 27th at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Thomas More Church, corner of Hawthorn Road and Elm Street, Braintree at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
