M. Sparrow Obituary

M. Rita Sparrow PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA Mary Rita Sparrow, 93 passed away on September 20, 2008 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Prior to moving to Florida, Rita was a longtime resident of Hingham, MA. She was predeceased by her husband William Wayne Sparrow and son Richard Sparrow. Both were Boston Fire Fighters. She is survived by six daughters, Rita McDonald of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nancy Driscoll of Jensen Beach, FL and Saco, ME, Judith Sparrow of Westford, MA, Dorothea Sparrow of Westwood, MA, Mary Palhete of Quincy, MA, Teresa Walker of Palm City, FL and her daughter-in-law Diane Sparrow of West Roxbury, MA, and 5 sons-in-law, Frank McDonald, George Driscoll, Edward Carroll, Charles Doherty and Ronald Palhete, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church, Hingham, MA (Rt. 228, Main St.). Internment following at St. Paul's Cemetery, Hingham. The family requests memorial contributions to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
