Anita McManus Obituary

PEMBROKE Anita L. (Favart) McManus, died at home on September 24, 2008 at the age of 68. She was the wife of Henry H. McManus, Jr. of Pembroke. Mother of Sean Patrick McManus of Carver and the late Henry H. McManus, III. Mother-in-law of Maureen McManus of Pembroke and Cynthia Ann McManus of Carver. Sister of Eugene Favart of KS, Phillip Favart of FL and Adele Shaw of FL. Grandmother of Sean Jr., Ryan, Seamus and Tanya. Great-grandmother of Sophia Grace and Madison May. Anita was born in Braintree and was a graduate of Braintree HS Class of 1958. She had lived in Pembroke for 42 years and worked as a designer at ARAMARK in Norwell. Anita was a den mother of Pack 105 in Pembroke, loved to cook (was known as the Food Lady), and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and NASCAR racing. Memorial calling hours will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Shepherd Funeral Home (Rt. 14 Pembroke Center). Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass at St. Thelcas Church in Pembroke at 10 a.m. All other services will be private.
