Frederick Condon

September 30, 2008

I came out from California in August, I spent my time getting to know my dad's side of the family. And as my dad had said when we were in the aiport on the way home,"I'm just happy knowing that he got a chance to meet you as a young man instead of of a little boy" I am more greatful knowing that then anything. My grandpa, even though we were a large distance away, had a huge impact on my look at life. I love every one back on the eastcoast. Grandpa I love you and will miss you. But I cant help from smiling when I realize that my grandparents, from my moms side, are more then happy to have you up there with them watching down on us

I am the oldest of Grandpa Gene's grand girls. since I live in California and was unable to attend the services, My mother asked me to pick up a balloon for myself and one for my little brother to send our Grandpa wishes and thoughts up in Heaven. This is what I wrote on mine. Let the love and laughter from those of your past greet you at Heavens gates.Take pleasure in pride in watching those you left here on Earth. Smile down on us when we look up at the stars at night and know you are looking back at us. Embrace never having to feel another ounce of pain. And may your spirit live on forever in our hearts. FLY WITH THE ANGELS. I Love You Grandpa.

I remember my cousin Gene when he was a fourteen year old in Marion, Mass. My memories of him are that he was a lot of fun (like his father in that way). I send deepest sympathies to Gene's wife Bobbie and his children and his dear sister Liz with whom I'm in almost daily e-mail contact. RIP Cousin Gene.
