Adeline Pecce Obituary

Adeline K. Pecce QUINCY Adeline K. (Ferrante) Pecce, of Quincy died at home on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at age 95. Born in Bedford, Indiana, she was raised and educated in Quincy, graduating from Quincy High, Class of '31, then attending Burdett Business School. A quiet, pretty woman with an easy smile, Adeline was the matriarch of her family. She was a homemaker who enjoyed walking and lived independently for her 95 years. The beloved wife of the late Alfred Pecce, she was the loving mother of Al Pecce and his wife Rita of Quincy and Robert Pecce and his wife Ellen of Braintree, beloved grandmother of Mark Pecce and his wife Laurie, Donna Ryan and her husband Ken, Anthony Pecce and his wife Mary, Teresa Pecce and Krista Pecce and great grandmother of Carissa, Nicholas, Matthew, Bella, Jake and Maxwell. She was the sister of Albert Ferrante and his wife Evelyn of Pocassett and the late James, John and Domenic Ferrante. Her funeral will be from the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center on Wednesday, October 1 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, West Quincy at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial is in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery. Donations in Adeline's memory may be made to Meals on Wheels, 71 Cleveland Ave., Braintree, MA 02184 or to a charity of one's choice.
