Francis McCue Obituary

DUXBURY Francis Frank T. McCue, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2008. Husband of Jeanette (Enguanti) Tamagini-McCue, of Duxbury, and widower of Elizabeth (Butler) McCue. He was the Step-father of Joan Sullivan of Duxbury. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Orphaned, he was raised and adopted by the McCue family, living in Weymouth. He resided for many years in Brookline and Medfield. During WWII he served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946, participating in the invasion at Normandy. He earned a B.S. from Boston University in 1951. Frank retired from New England Electric System in 1988. He was and avid golfer and long term member of Wompatuck Golf Club, the University Club, and the Charles River Country Club. Mr. McCue,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during WW II-especially on D-Day at Normandy, France. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
