Jeanne Walsh Obituary

SCITUATE Jeanne T. Walsh, 80, of Scituate, died on Monday, September 1, 2008 at her home surrounded by family, after a brief illness. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1927, the daughter of the late Viola and Lauristen Tyler. She was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Brunswick, Maine. She was devoted to her family and worked on the Guild at St. Lukes, in Scituate for 20 years. She loved to garden and swim. She was preceded by her husband R. William Walsh, and her son Russell W. Walsh Jr. She is survived by her sister Shirley Foss of Newburg, Oregon, her sister-in-law Stella Walsh of Portland, Maine, her four daughters Laurie Walsh of Cohasset, Leslie Wickfield of Groton, Tyler Wheeler of Carver, Stephanie St. John of Cohasset and her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Walsh Jr. of Hingham. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Scituate.
