Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

To My Dearest Ian:
You are my very dear friend, I will always cherish the wonderful memories that you, Mike and I had. You both have a special place in my heart. Yesterday I was just looking at photo's of our last Halloween party together, remembering times of fun,joy and sadness we all shared. I recieved a call from home this morning that you had passed away.Even though I am far away I loved our phone calls over the last ten years. I am saddened by your loss, and I will miss you dearly.
Your dear friend,
