Agnes Carey Obituary

NORWELL Agnes Lillian (Gooch) Carey, of Norwell, 96, died peacefully at the Norwell Knoll on October 29, 2008. She is the beloved wife of the late James A. Carey. She is remembered with love by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was a dedicated member of the North Hanover Baptist Church and the First Baptist Church in Marshfield known as Old Skunk. Although born in Hanover, she lived most of her life in Norwell. She worked during WWII at the National Fireworks in Hanover. She enjoyed needlework, knitting and crafts and she loved her home and family. She enjoyed entertaining and caring for her nieces and nephews and their children. Services are private. Burial at the Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Norwell Visiting Nurse or Friend of Norwell Council on Aging. For on-line condolences please visit our website at richarddavisfuneralhome.com
