Louise Foley

Louise Foley ROCKLAND Louise Foley, 85, of Rockland, MA and formerly of Quincy and Braintree, died Monday Nov. 3, 2008 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH surrounded by her family. She was born in Boston, MA on Feb. 24, 1923 a daughter of the late William and Mary (Hamilton) Jones. Mrs. Foley spent her younger years in Quincy before moving to Braintree from 1967 until 1986. She served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WW II and was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Rockland. Before retirement, she was a bookkeeper for several years, and had worked for the Multi Bank, in Dedham, MA. She is the widow of John Foley who died in 1984, and is also predeceased by a sister Dorothea Willard. Members of her family include, a daughter and son in-law, Josephine and Mike Greene of Amherst, NH, four grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Justin Hickman, Jennifer, Joanna, and John Greene, one great-grandson, Brayden Hickman, a sister Mary Urann of Walpole, MA and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are at the George R. Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Neumann Church, Rte 101A, Merrimack, Thursday at 10:30 a,m.
