Donald Jenney Obituary

Donald Ross Jenney HANSON Donald Ross Jenney died suddenly at his home in Hanson, Sunday, November 2, 2008. He was 80. Born in New Bedford, he attended schools in New Bedford and Fairhaven. He was a veteran of WW II and served in the U.S. Army. Donald lived most of his life in Hanson and was employed as a die setter for Light Control for the past 25 years. His greatest past time was spending time with his grandchildren. He was the husband of Elaine E. (Sayce) Jenney. The loving father of Scott Jenny and his wife Kathleen of Fairhaven and the late Jolene Hayse. Brother of Richard W. Jenney of Milford, CT and Shirley Wilson of Greensboro, NC. Loving grandfather of Donnie and Christopher, Michael, Jason, and Jessica. Calling hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 West Washington St., (Corner Rte. 58), HANSON on Saturday, November 8th from 12-2 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the Family would like donations to be made in Donald's memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Pl. West, 6th Fl., Brookline, MA 02445.
