Seaward B. Forbes SOUTH EASTON Seaward B. "Buddy" Forbes, of South Easton, formerly of Braintree and Stoneham, November 7, 2008. Devoted husband of 25 years to Helen (Hurley) Forbes. Beloved father of George Forbes and wife Sheri of Orange, CA, and Stacey and her husband Peter Carr of Scituate. Brother of Phyllis Goodrich of NH. Cherished grandfather to Andrew Forbes and Ashley Forbes of CA, Katelyn Carr of Scituate, and John Burke of Billerica. Buddy retired as an electrical engineer from the MDC after 38 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the American Legion and the Redmen Club. An avid Patriots fan, his hobbies included woodworking, golf, and model trains.
