I was one of Shirley's VNA nurses in the last few years. I really enjoyed her and felt the burden of all her health issues. She spoke lovingly of her son and grandson as well as other family members. I was very happy to see her several months ago, out shopping (in her wheelchair). We had a nice chat. She always maintained a positive attitude. It was a pleasure to have known her.

Ma,
You will forever be in Walter Jr.s and my heart. This past year has been pretty tough for you. Walter Jr was very lucky to have a nana like you! It has been quite an amazing journey the past 15 years with you. We love you very much. xoxoxo
