Robert Berry Obituary

HANOVER Robert P. Berry, age 41, of Hanover, formerly of Weymouth, died suddenly Tuesday November 4, 2008 at the Brockton Hospital, Brockton. Born in Framingham and raised in Weymouth, he was the son of Barbara (Molloy) and her husband William Cotter both of Marshfield and the late Paul F. Berry who died in 1999. He was the former husband to Linda (Dabrowski) Berry of Hanover. Mr. Berry was a member of the Weymouth Pop-Warner Championship Football Team as a cornerback. He was a graduate of Weymouth North High School class of 1984 where he was on the wrestling team. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Berry owned and operated Select Seafood in Hanover. In addition to his mother Barbara, he was the father of Kylee and Ryan Berry, both of Hanover. He was also survived by his siblings Joseph Berry and his wife Patty of CA, and Marybeth Godwin and her husband James of Nahant, and his step mother Joyce Berry of Ashland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord St., Rt. 126, Framingham. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. At the familys request there are no funeral home visiting hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Norton Funeral Home, www.nortonfuneral home.com, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.) Framingham. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Mr. Berrys name may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
