Thomas Joseph Obituary

Thomas G. Joseph, Jr. MILTON Thomas G. Joseph, Jr., passed away at Highgate Manor in Dedham on Mon, November 10, 2008. Born in Boston, Mr. Joseph was a 40 year resident of Milton and enjoyed summering in Scituate with his family for many years. A self-employed Accountant, he was a graduate of Boston Latin School and the University of Notre Dame, Class of 1959. A devoted alumnus, Mr. Joseph was a late member of the Notre Dame Club of Boston, a former Milton Town Meeting Member and a late member of The Edward Frederick Sorin Society. The beloved husband of Elizabeth T. (Murphy) Joseph of Milton, he is also survived by his devoted daughters; Maria Peckham & her husband, Philip, Theresa OLeary & her husband, Sean, all of Easton and Eileen Smith & her husband, Brian of Roslindale. He was the dear papa of Kaitlin, Thomas & Meghan OLeary, Elizabeth, Madeline & James Peckham and Douglas Smith and the loving brother of Jacqueline Beers of PA & Marian Donnelly of Scituate. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton, Thursday at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday 4 to 8 PM. Interment in Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the David B. My husband was a patient and friend of Tom's at Westwood Dialysis. They both had transplants around the same time and were a great help to each other. Just want the family to know how much we thought of Tom and how much he'll be missed. He was a wonderful man and friend.

Tom was a shining light to his dialysis family in Westwood. I will always remember hearing his hearty laugh during Seinfeld episodes and his devotion to the Boston Red Sox. Tom was a great conversationalist and held interesting and passionate discussions with his dialysis family. I am a better person for knowing him.
