Jon Jester Obituary

Jon Anthony Jester BLUFFTON, SC Jon Anthony (Tony) Jester of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Weymouth, MA Jon Anthony (Tony) Jester, 70, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was born in Corpus Christi, TX on October 6, 1938. He was the son of the late Leon and Bernice Packard Jester. He was a Realtor associated with Charter I North Realty. He was a Citadel graduate and served in the US Army. He enjoyed golf, tennis and softball. He was a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Jester of Bluffton, SC; one son, Greg (Tiffany) Jester of Cos Cob, CT; two daughters, Karen (Chris) Jakubek of Ellicott City, MD and Suzanne (John) Cionci of Malvern, PA; one sister, Mary Gay Casey of Vero Beach, FL and seven grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 500 Taylor St., Suite 101, Columbia, SC 29201. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements. (www.saulsfh.com)
