Franklin Miller Obituary

FLORIDA Franklin L. Miller, Jr., 75, of Englewood, Florida, formerly of Marshfield and Milton, Mass. died after a long illness on Thursday, October 30, 2008. Born in Mattapan, Mass., Franklin graduated from Milton High School in 1952. He received his bachelor's degree from Boston University and served 2 years in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Marshfield United Methodist Church. He was also a long time member of the St. Paul's-Algonquin Lodge, F & A.M. of Braintree . He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Franklin, Sr. and Ramona (Boates) Miller. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lois (Russell) Miller; son Franklin, III and wife Anne of Wading River, Long Island, New York; and daughters Jean (Delaney) Miller and husband Scott of Plymouth, Mass.; Lorri (Miller) Arthur of Fairbanks, Alaska and Julie (Miller) Harrison of Marshfield, Mass. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren. Donations may be made in Franklin's name to the American Heart Association..
