Philip E. Comlin WEYMOUTH Philip E. Comlin of Weymouth passed away at South Shore Hospital on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at age 68. Born in Brockton, he was raised and educated in Rockland, graduated from Rockland High and lived in Halifax before moving to Weymouth in 1996. A Vietnam vet, US Marine Corps, Phil worked for 25 years as a truck driver for Coca Cola in the Braintree and Waltham plants, before retiring in 1992. A member of the AFL-CIO, he was shop steward in the Coca Cola union. Phil was also a real estate broker and worked part-time at YCN Transport in Norwood. The beloved husband for 47 years of Mary L. (Sullivan) Comlin, Phil is the beloved father of Jeffrey Comlin and his wife Alissa of Braintree, Mark Joseph Comlin and his wife Lucimar of Quincy and Carol Ann Marble and her husband Paul of Medway and loving grandfather of Craig Marble, Christopher Joseph, Ryan and Jake Comlin. His funeral will be from the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., Quincy Center, on Thursday, November 20 at 9:00am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Joseph's Church, Quincy Point at 10:00am. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
