Alfred Housman Obituary

Alfred E. Housman Loveland, OH Alfred E. Housman, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Hingham, died on Saturday, November 15th, 2008 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Diana Housman and loving father of David (Katherine) Housman and Allison Housman. Grandfather of Reeves and Anya Housman. Brother of Richard Housman, the late Phillip Housman and the late Robert Housman. Mr. Housman was a native of Hingham where he was an Eagle Scout and co-captain of the Hingham High School football team, earning All-State honors as well as serving as Vice President of his 1961 senior class. He graduated with a degree in Journalism from The Pennsylvania State University in 1965. Mr. Housman worked as a Senior Sales Manager for Hoechst Celanese Corporation for many years. Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Friday from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 22nd at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham Square at 10 a.m., followed by Interment in the Hingham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Sierra Club Ohio Chapter, 131 N. High St., Suite 605, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
