Gloria Marshall Obituary

Gloria Alice Marshall CANTON Gloria Alice Marshall (Smith), age 78, formally of Quincy, Mass. passed away suddenly on November 18th 2008. She was born in Milton on February 3rd 1930 to William and Florence Smith. She attended Milton High School and was a 1951 graduate of Boston University. She was an artist and owned and operated a successful ceramic business in Quincy for over 30 years. She spent her later years repairing and restoring dolls as well as being active in the Canton Art Association and the Randolph Ladies Club. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert L Marshall Sr., devoted mother of Robert L Marshall Jr. and his wife Dawne of Quincy, Janet M Lawatsch and her husband Robert of Braintree, Thomas W Marshall of Quincy, Judith A Salvucci and her husband Richard of Quincy and William J. Marshall of Quincy, dear sister of Geraldine Padial of New York and Gordon Smith of Braintree and the late Robert Smith of Florida. Loving grandmother of Andrea and Kate Marshall, Carlyn and Allison Lawatsch, TJ, Patrick and Ronan Marshall, Joseph, Richard, Robert and Emily Salvucci, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at RoachePushard Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Canton, Mass. on Friday, November 21st from 4 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Saint Gerards Church, 1860 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Saturday, November 22nd at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to the Gloria A Marshall Art Scholarship Fund and sent to the Bank of Canton, 557 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021.

Dear Marshall family:
