HINGHAM Kathleen Haley Thornton, of Hingham, November 19, 2008. Former wife of Robert Thornton of CA. Loving mother of Robert Thornton and wife Renda of Stoughton, James Thornton of Utah, Gregory Thornton of Hingham, Kathleen Thornton Walsh of Weymouth, Sarah Thornton-Frey and husband William Frey of Providence, RI, Julie Harrington and husband Leighton of Buzzards Bay, Shaunah Connors of Yarmouth, and Susan Thornton-Russell of Hull. Sister of Robert Haley of Plattsburgh, NY. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Kathleen was born on September 15, 1934 in Plattsburgh, NY. She was a Hingham resident for 41 years where she lived and raised her family. Kathleen was a very family oriented women, family always came first. Her favorite hobby was Tuesday Night Tennis with the ladies. A Funeral Mass was celebrated this morning in the Church of the Resurrection, Hingham. Burial followed in Hingham Cemetery.
