Dear Eagan & O’Brien Families,
My deepest condolences to you and your families in your time of distress. Unfortunately I just found out and would like to apologies for not being able to pay my respects. I know how much Patti meant to so many of us whose lives she touched. We had so many funny moments at the First National Store in Neponset and hanging out after work. I will remember her fondly in my thoughts and prayers. Patti had an impeccable sense of humor with perfect delivery. Remember her great heart and good spirit as you go through the healing process. If I can be of any assistance in your time of need please don't hesitate to call.

Returning from vacation, I learned of Patti's sudden passing. What a shock! Having known her in Dorchester and then to be reacquainted at South School, I always felt a special connection to Patti. Such a lovely warm person!
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Knowing that she is with her God, watching over each one of you should give you comfort, especially during this holy season.

Only once in our lifetime does someone like Patti Eagan come our way -- and that is if we are fortunate.

Patti was truly a wonderful person.

She was quick to welcome anyone to new surroundings, quick to understand difficult situations, and quick to offer help to anyone in need.

Patti's gestures of warmth and kindesss will forever be remembered by those of us who knew her well. And her countless acts of kindness have touched hundreds of lives in Hingham and elsewhere.

Despite her quiet demeanor, Patti was actually quite the comic. While her sense of humor was dry, I can honestly say that I have never laughed louder or harder than when I was with Patti Eagan.

She always made me laugh. She always made me smile. Now she makes me cry. I am deeply saddened that I will never see her again.

Patti was truly a gem.

I trust and hope that she rests in peace and I thank God that I had the opportunity to know her.
