Audrey W. Jackson

Audrey W. Jackson ROCKLAND Audrey W. (Clifton) Jackson, 96 of Rockland died on November 19, 2008 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Emmett and Florence (Hanscome) Clifton and was raised and educated in Bostons South End. She had been a longtime Weymouth resident before moving to Rockland 3 years ago. Mrs. Jackson had previously been employed at the Colonial Provision Co. in Roxbury. She was an accomplished cook and seamstress and was known as a very creative woman. She loved to go fishing with her family. Wife of the late William Jackson, Sr. she is the mother of Louise Braxton of Medford, Marilyn A. Tyler and Phyllis B. Jackson of Rockland, Wilbur K. Jackson of Newton and the late Robert D. Jackson and William Jackson, Jr.. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 8:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in Holy Family Church at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Bridgets Cemetery in Rockland. Calling hours will be on Monday November 24, 2008 from 5-8 PM.
