Lorraine Richard Obituary

Lorraine E. Richard SCITUATE Lorraine A. (Perrault) Richard, of Scituate, November 20, 2008, age 84. Lorraine was born and raised in Brockton. A 1942 graduate of Brockton High School. Lorraine was a hairdresser for many years and co-owner of the Satuit Restaurant, later she was a caretaker for the elderly. Lorraine had many interests including gardening, sewing, reading, crossword puzzle and was a fabulous cook. Lorraine was always easy going, pleasant and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed by many. Former spouse of Norman Richard. Devoted mother of Dianne Richard and her husband James Elksnin of Kingston, Robert Richard and his wife Lisa of Duxbury, Charlene Richard and her fiance David Williamson of Scituate, Dana Richard and his wife Jana of Scituate, Anne Fishwick and her husband Bob of Carver. Sister of Richard Perrault of Plymouth, Celia Cashman of Bridgewater, the late Edward Perrault and Janice Murray. Loving grandmother of Erin Benoit-Berry, Emily and Charles Richard, Bobby and Adam Fishwick and the late Melissa A. Benoit. Great grandmother of Caleb Berry. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th from 4-7PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraines memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., 1 Bromfield St., Boston, MA 02108.
