Pietro J. Contestabile

MILTON Pietro J. Contestabile of Milton November 21, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia (Mosesso) Contestabile. Devoted father of Vivian Crowley and her husband Bernie of Weymouth and Phyllis Contestabile and her husband Paul Stevens of Weymouth, brother of the late Osvaldo, Imelda, and Fiorina Contestabile, Loving grandfather of Lisa and Stephen Crowley both of of Weymouth. Pietro was born and raised in Castel del Guidice Italy. He was quite the handyman who loved to tinker and fix things in his workshop. He was an avid gardner with a special interest in growing fruit trees. Mr. Contestabile was very proud of his arrival in America from Italy in 1956. Pietro was a cook at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston for 25 years before retiring in 1990. Pietro had a special love for his family of whom he was very proud of. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 7 PM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
