Joseph Poplosky Obituary

Joseph Poplosky PLYMOUTH Joseph Francis Poplosky, 89, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, formerly of Chelmsford, MA, passed away on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Louise Ann DeLouis and loving father of the late Ralph Poplosky; devoted brother of Felis Storr of St. Louis, MO. Joe is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his loving companion of eleven years, Jane F. Beauregard. During the war, Joe worked as a Foreign Liaison Engineer for International Operations for Raytheon where he continued to work until his retirement. He was a member of the Bonnie Seniors of St. Bonaventures church, the John Alden Club of Manomet, and the Mayflower Amateur Radio Club. Joe was an avid ham operator known by many by his call sign W1WMZ. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett-Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be Monday, December 1 from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. Friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at St. Bonaventures in Manomet, 799 State Road, December 1st at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Manomet Cemetery, Manomet, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joes name to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515.
