Annie Harvey Obituary

NORWELL Mrs. Annie E. "Betty" (Dwyer) Harvey, 84 of Norwell died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at home after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Robert L. and Annie L. (Wright) Dwyer, she was born in Boston on April 2, 1924. She was raised and educated in Dorchester and served as a Wave in the Navy during WWII. Wife of the late William J. "Buzz" Harvey she is survived by 1 son Stephen P. Harvey of Norwell, 1 daughter, Susan R. Peffer and her husband, Jeff of Cumberland, RI, 4 grandchildren, William and Michelle Harvey of Plymouth and Andrew and Krissy Peffer of Cumberland RI and 1 daughter-in-law, Diane Harvey of Plymouth. She was the mother of the late William J. Harvey. Funeral Mass was on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St., Rte 53 in Norwell. Interment in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell. Visitation was in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scituate Historical Society for the Lighthouse Restoration Fund, 43 Cudworth Rd, Scituate, MA 02066.
