Ruth Mallett Obituary

QUINCY Ruth F. (Cronin) Mallett, 66 years old, of Quincy, died Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Plymouth after a brief illness. Mrs. Mallett was born in Boston, and was raised and educated in Quincy schools. She was a lifelong Quincy resident. She was employed for thirty-four years as a Sales Representative at the former Brooks Pharmacy on Granite Street in Quincy. Beloved wife of the late Neil S. Mallett. Devoted mother of Stephen N. Mallett of Bourne and Jacqueline M. Farrand of Plymouth. Mother-in-law of John M. Farrand. Loving grandmother of Casey L. Farrand and Connor M. Farrand. Aunt of Patricia Pitkenan of Quincy. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Monday, December 1st at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School St., Quincy at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. For those who wish, donations in Mrs. Malletts memory may be made to The Leukemia Society, MA Chapter, 9 Erie Drive, Suite 101, Natick, MA 01760.
