Oh Dad, I don't know if I can find the words. Last Sunday, I told you that you & Mum raised some very strong Manning women and I promised you that we will always take care of each other and especially Mum. I will never forget my promise to you. I'm so sad that you're no longer here with us. I do take some comfort in the fact that you are no longer suffering and no longer so horribly sick. It was an honor for me to help take care of you while you were sick and I will cherish all our special moments for the rest of my life. Over the past several weeks, since you came home from the hospital I think you have no idea how much I loved to just sit beside you and hold your hand! I love you Daddy, and I am so proud to be your daughter. You and David left us WAY too early, but at least you both have each other again ... and like Derek said, now you've finally had a chance to meet his Dad, Dutch. Tell David and Dutch we love and miss them very much. Until we meet again Dad ... I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU.

To the entire Manning Family,
My heart goes out to you all in this time of loss. Mr. Manning was always such a kind and friendly man. I remember anytime I ever went to the sub shop he always greeted me with a huge smile, even if he was scratching away at his latest roll of tickets! Even as a teenager I could tell how in love Mr. and Mrs. Manning always were! It was rare to ever see them apart. I know he is in heaven now with David and hope that gives your hearts some peace. It is never easy to know what to say at a time like this and I want you all to know that I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers always.
With love and sadness for your loss,

Love and big kisses Love, Me xoxoxo

Hi my extra special honey, you have made my life complete loving you, knowing you and caring for you, we are and always will be teenage sweethearts, sounds so funny at our age, but we said so very many times over our 44 1/2 years of wedded bliss, that we were growing up together and getting old together, well Babe, ain't that just the truth. We have had a most horrid past year with losing our son, and never getting over the hurt of that, and then getting the horrid news of you being sick, just way to much for our loving family to deal with. You are so loved by everyone that knew you, your smile and oh my, those beautiful blue eyes of yours, wow,you are just truly an amazing man, I respect you more than you can imagine, you are truly the love of my life, My Honey, you never once said 'WHY ME' never once, I always told you,I am so very proud to be " Mrs.Dave Manning" and the mother of your 5 children, even tho adults, our children,Dave my love ,I know this goes without saying again, because I know you were greeted by David already, but every day give him a big hug from Mum, and tell him how very much I love him,I had already asked that of you and you told me you would, so I know you have already done that. The biggest, strongest hugs to you my love,I love you with every breath I take and till we see each other again, I love you My Honey and I will continue to talk to you all the time, - Rest In Peace - my love, you so deserve it, Good Night My Honey, Later, Love, Me xoxoxoxoxo

Dad, Dad, Dad - what do I say - you are an amazing man who I love with all my heart. This last six months have sucked so much, your body was put through hell but you are now at peace with David. How we will miss your smile and your precious blue eyes. My heart hurts and the tears won't stop - you know how much I loved you and would have done anything for you. We will take care of Mom always!! I love you my sweet Dad - rest in peace and give my brother a hug and kiss for me please.
Love always,
