In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My Dear Friend Shari & Families,
Words I say cannot heal your broken hearts. I know that wonderful Memories can heal your hearts. I loved Mom too, she was a sweet person who had a big heart and I always remember her as smiling. She would treat me like I was her daughter. I remember when I would go over your house when we were young and she would ask how things were and how the family was doing. I wanted to stay longer and visit with her cause I felt she just wanted to chat with us, but we were young and wanted to be with our friends.. She will always be my friend and I know she's smiling down watching you all. She loved you and you were blessed to have her as a Mother... and a cure was not to be,

I'll miss you Gram. You've always been their for me. I felt you always understood me. You never rushed our conversations. Always listened to me. I'll remember that. My heart hurts with sadness & the tears won't stop.
You had an endless supply of love it seemed & happily shared it with everyone. You were "Ma" to so many. And you were so loved.
You fought hard through all the pain & through it all you never complained.
So strong, so courageous, gentle, kind & compassionate. Such a devoted & loving mother. We were so blessed to have such a wonderful gift. Thank You for all the sacrifices you made for your children & the wisdom you bestowed upon us.
Thank You Mom for always listening & caring, for giving & sharing, but Especially for just being YOU!
