Dear Friends,
I am just now learning of Lydia's passing. You all must miss her so very much.Lydia was at my side when I accepted Jesus as my savior over 20 years ago and she gave me my first Bible. She was quite a woman of God.

Aunt Lydia was the best aunt, and there are so many things that I learned from her. She was always faithful to God, to her husband, and to her family. She taught me many things musically, lots of ideas for cooking for kids, and most of all, she taught me the importance of having a personal, daily walk with Jesus. Although I love her and miss her so much, I know she is with Him right now.

Mrs. Xypteras was my teacher at BHS back in the 70's....she inspired me to go into the food service business.

I've often thought of her over the years, she made such a difference in my life....and I am sure others as well....she, as my own family, had roots in "the farm" ...I am very fortunate to have had the pleasure of having her in my life, she was the teacher that made a difference, showed me the way ...

May her family always know she was loved by many of the souls she touched. knowing one day I will see her again brings me peace.

God bless and God speed healing of this wonderful family, of this wonderful woman, we were blessed to have her in our lives, and will again in the for after.

I wish you peace..............

Fondly,
Maura Carson-Murray

I worked with Lydia for may years at BHS.She shared her love of cooking with me. I am happy that she shared "the secret ingredient" of her famous Greek dressing!

She was a lovely person and very generous of heart.

I wish her family fond memories and to Lydia, eternal rest.

With sincere sympathy,

Susan Stark
