Dorothy Durgin Obituary

Dorothy A. Durgin MILTON Dorothy A. (Donovan) Durgin, age 91, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the W. B. Rice Eventide Home, Quincy. Born and raised in South Boston, Dorothy was a graduate of the Boston school system. She resided in Quincy for 15 years and in Milton for 40 years. Beloved wife of the late Eugene J., Vice Chairman of the Board for Howard Johnson Co. She is survived by her devoted children; Maria K. Capobianco and her husband Paul of Stoughton, Eugene J., Jr. and his wife Carol of Duxbury, Robert T. and his wife Maryann of Hingham and Paul J. Durgin and his wife Leslie of Milton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dorothy was the loving sister of the late William A. Donovan, Jr. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Saturday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Friday 4 to 8 PM. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.
