Alexander Petrosevich Obituary

HANOVER Mr. Alexander W. "Hank" Petrosevich, 98 a life long resident of Hanover died Monday, December 1, 2008 at the South Shore Rehab & Skilled Care Center in Rockland after a short illness. The son of the late Victor and Patricia (Samatowich) Petrosevich, he was born in Hanover on November 4, 1910 and was raised and educated in Hanover. Hank is survived by 13 nieces and nephews, Charles Petrosevich of Hanover, John Petrosevich of Kingston, Michael Petrosevich of Rockland, Helen Petrosevich on Manomet, Lorraine Gettings of Braintree, Michael Grigas of East Bridgewater, Peter Grigas of Corona CA, Joseph Grigas of Paris CA, David Slazas of Tampa FL, Joan Jeske of Riverdale IL, Hedwig Couble of Cicero IL, Maryann Bartos of Grand Rapids MI and Maxine Couble of Naperville IL. He was the brother of the late Charles Petrosevich, Pauline Grigas, Dorothy Watchkis, and Agnes Couble. Also survived by many grand nieces and grand nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. in Rockland. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery. Mr. Petrosevich,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you with the USN during WW II as a member of the Armed Guard crews who provided protection for civilian merchant ships. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
