Rosemary Ahern-Sullivan

MILTON Rosemary G. Ahern Sullivan of Milton, died on December 3rd surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Larry "Sully" Sullivan for 6 years and the late Robert E. Ahern for 41 years. Born in Roselle, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Thomas. Rosemary graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy in Brighton. A devoted wife and mother, she also volunteered at Milton Hospital for over 20 years, dedicating her time and creativity to the hospital gift shop and the annual fundraising events organized by the hospital's Public Relations Office. Mother of Robert E. Ahern, Jr. and his wife Mary of Mechanicsburg, PA, Karen Doherty-Rourke and her husband Tom Rourke of Milton. Beloved grandmother of Jennifer Dunlap and her husband David of Santa Paula, CA, Patrick Doherty of New York City, Nicolas and Danielle Doherty of Milton, Anne Marle Deloach, Joseph, Robert, John, Nicolas, Gabe and Michael Ahern of Mechanicsburg, PA. Beloved great-grandmother of Isabelle and Moira Dunlap of Santa Paula, CA, and Raleigh Deloach of Mechanicsburg, PA. Dearly loved sister-in-law of Florence Fahey of Marshfield, Dorothy Snyder of Windsor Locks, CT and Shirely Ahern of Wellesley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth's Church, Milton on Tuesday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
