Mildred Felci Obituary

WEYMOUTH Mildred B. (Babcock) Felci, at her home on December 4, 2008, after a lengthy illness, age 61. Born in ME, Mildred resided in Quincy for 44 years before moving to Weymouth 12 years ago. She was a graduate of North Quincy High School and attend Quincy College. Beloved wife of Jim Felci, Business Development Officer of Weymouth Bank. Devoted mother of Paul Felci and his wife Christine of Weymouth. Loving grandmother of Cassandra and Jordannah Hemeon of Weymouth. Twin sister of Merrill Babcock of TN, Harold of VT, and Connie of Quincy. Sister-in-law of Paul R. Felci of Saugus, his daughter Joanne of WA, John and Diane Felci of Methuen and their daughters Lisa and Marissa of Belmont. Also survived by several nieces and grandnephews. Mildred was an active member of Calvary Chapel Boston in Rockland and enjoyed reading, music, scrap booking and the Women's Bible Study at Calvary Chapel. Mildred was a pioneer in research for her disease Alpha One Anti Trispen Deficiency and was recognized for her work in the field by being The Person of the Year by the Mass Lung Assoc. in 1997. Visiting hours are omitted. There will be Memorial Services celebrating Mildred's life at a later date at Calvary Chapel in Rockland. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Tape Ministry at Calvary Chapel of Boston, 175 Market St., P.O. Box 409, Rockland, MA 02370 and/or South Shore Hospice, 100 Bay State Dr., Braintree, MA 02184.

So sorry to hear of Millie's passing. She was an inspiration to all of us. Although her time on this earth was very short, she touched so many lives with her positive attitude.
