Mary was my Godmother, although early on she could have been described as the entire familys' Godmother. My 10 brothers and sisters were quite a handful but in the beginning Mary ,living in the same house became surrogate Mom to many of us.Her Dad Bill and she were very much a part of the family. I still remember her taking me to get my First Communion Dress, one of the few memories I still retain! We lost touch over the years when my parents moved to Braintree, and later reconnected .She was very generous and always looking to help others with no thought of herself. The irony of her death is maybe a week ago I said to her that I was amazed at how active she was at 83,...traveling,shopping,going out, driving....when I ,much younger ,was less inclined to leave my house. She was very good to her friends, her roommate Chris and her sister. She often reminisced about her sister Georgie who died many years ago. Now she is surely in heaven with those who passed on earlier. May she rest in well deserved PEACE.

Mary was a great person. Her generosity was exceptional and extended beyond family and close friends. We will miss her wit and her wisdom. God Bless, Mary.....your good works will remain as model for us.
