Helen Mallett Obituary

BRAINTREE Helen M. (Hamill) Mallett, age 84, entered into eternal life on December 6, 2008. Helen was born in Motherwell, Scotland, grew up in Quincy and has lived in Braintree for over 50 years. Mrs. Mallett was a a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Braintree and was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth. She was a member of the Third Order of Mary and the Legion of Mary. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence E. Mallett. Devoted mother of Anne O'Donnell of Quincy, Robert of Henniker, N.H., Ellen M. of Braintree, Christine of Abington, Mary T. of Quincy, and the late Lawrence E. Mallett Jr. Beloved sister of Ann Cunningham of Weymouth, Thomas Hamill of Braintree, the late Hugh, John, Robert and Andrew Hamill. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth Landing on Wednesday, December 10 at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 9 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
