Michael Falkner Obituary

BRAINTREE Michael L. Falkner of Braintree, died December 5, 2008, in Braintree, MA following a long illness. Born in Boston, MA on October 25, 1947 he was the beloved son of Elque Dick and Helen (Tate) Falkner of Norwell, MA. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School as well as Suffolk University where he majored in Journalism. Mr. Falkner was an avid reader and enjoyed writing as a favorite past time. He moved to Braintree three years ago, previously residing in Wareham. Besides leaving his parents, He is survived by his cherished son Sean and his wife Charlotte Falkner of Mansfield, his two brothers; Daniel and his wife Catherine Falkner of Norwell, Jamie and his wife Laura Falkner of Huber Hts., OH, his two sisters; Karen and her husband Joseph Falkner-Iacubacci of Newton Highlands and Kathie and her husband Ken Gove of Freedom, NH. He was the loving grandfather of Sarah and Taylor Falkner. Services will be private. Arrangements by Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, MA 02360.
