Joyce Simmons Obituary

Concord, NH Joyce L. Simmons, at the age of 65, died Thursday, November 27 in the Concord Hospital. She was born in Brockton, MA, daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Blanchard) Fisher. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School Class of 1961, and also Norwood Secretarial School in Norwood, MA. Joyce was the head teller for the Rockland Credit Union in Rockland, MA and Lake Sunapee Savings Bank. Joyce was generous with her time volunteering whenever she could, she was known for her skills at the bingo table, she enjoyed camping, and animals. Her greatest love was her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; former Fire Chief Edgar Simmons, three daughters; Pamela J. Millett and her husband Eric of Boscawen, Bonnie G. Simmons of Concord, Donna D. Pizzutillo and her husband Frank of Manchester, one son; Richard E. Simmons and his wife Tomoko of Tilton, nine grandchildren; Nicholas, Douglas and Sarah Millett, Christopher Simmons, Anthony, Mackenzie, and Tristan Pizzutillo, Lilly and Oliver Simmons, one brother; Robert Fisher, Jr. of Brockton, MA, one sister; Evelyn Norvish of Whitman, MA. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rt. 139, Marshfield, MA 02050.
