Eleanor Nichols Obituary

NATICK Eleanor Lee (Ahern) Nichols 83, of Tybee Island Georgia and formerly of Natick, died Sunday December 7, 2008 at the Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah Georgia. Born in Natick on September 10, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helena (Coleman) Ahern. A registered nurse, Mrs. Nichols had been a resident of Georgia for the past 20 years. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Nichols, the dear mother of Col. Richard Nichols Jr. of Ft. Jackson So. Carolina and Marilyn Marty Barrington of Carver; the cherished grandmother of Matthew Barrington and Sara Barrington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home (www.everettfuneral.com) 4 Park St., at Natick Common Monday, December 15, 2008 at 7 p.m. Pastor Richard Hurst will officiate. Burial will take place Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Glenwood Cemetery South Natick at 10 a.m.
