Dear Brenda, Maria and all of Doris's family, I just learned of Doris's passing today. I am so sorry for all of you, as I know how devoted you all were to her and how devoted she was to you. She will always hold a special place in my heart, as she was one of my first patients and we had a special bond. Try to remember how much she loved you all and let that courageous spirit of Doris 's live in all of you. It will surely carry you thru some of these difficult moments. Brenda, Maria and family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was truly a beautiful woman. She will be missed. She was always full of fun and made everyone she met feel at home. My mother, Josephine, loved working with her and spoke of her many times until she passed in 2006. I feel comforted knowing that they are together and they are smiling down on all of us. Please know that I will continue to think of your mother every year when I take out my Christmas ornaments. I have a Santa and a Snowman wooden egg set that I purchased when my mom and I attended a party at Doris’s home. I think of all the laughs we shared that evening. And, I will never forget all of those great bells and figurines! I will always remember Doris, her smile and the kindness she showed to all. Your mother was the best!

Sincerely,

Bob Kowalewski
