Mr. Chaput was just like a grandfather to me and my younger brother. I remember his wonderful garden in his back yard. I will always cherish the wonderful painting that is hanging in my living room that he painted. He was a loving and caring man, and I will miss him and his delicious fudge he'd make for my mother and me at Christmas time. What a great man he was. My love to his entire (my extended) family.

To all of our Quincy cousins-
We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bud was such a devoted family man and loved talking about his grandchildren. After admiring his many paintings that cover your dining room, I received several hand painted ornaments in the mail of his favorite lighthouses - so thoughtful. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
