Carmella Anzaldi Obituary

HOLBROOK Carmella Mena (Correnti) Anzaldi of Holbrook, formerly of Randolph and Hyde Park, passed away at the age of 99, June 15, 2009. Wife of the late Andrew Anzaldi. Loving mother of Josephine Whiffen and her husband Lewis of Holbrook, Frances Evangelista of Abington, and Diana Baxter of Whitman. Devoted sister of Frannie DiMuzio of Randolph, Elena Carroll of Raynham, the late Nina Correnti, Anthony Correnti and Frances DiBari. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Anzaldi was born in Riesi, Italy and came to the US at the age of 16. She was a seamstress for many years. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., (Rte. 28), Randolph until 9:00 AM Friday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Ever Care Hospice, 950 Winter St., Waltham, MA.
