John Lydeck Obituary

WEYMOUTH John "Red" D. Lydeck, of Weymouth, age 73, on June 15, suddenly at his home, entered into eternal life. Born and raised in Braintree, he had lived in Weymouth for 52 years. Red served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Lydeck was a diesel mechanic for P.K. Contractors in Braintree for many years. Red enjoyed golfing, fishing and gardening in his retirement years. Devoted father of Jo-Ann Callahan of Norwell, Jacqueline Seaver of Weymouth and Julie Marchetti of Rockland. Beloved brother of Frederick Chamberlain of Weymouth, George Chamberlain of Punta Gorda, FL and Richard Chamberlain of Harper, KS. Loving grandfather of Dan, Nick, Kelsey, Keith and Joey. Private funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 17 at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, Weymouth.

Mr. Lydeck,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
