Leo Nocera Obituary

BRAINTREE Leo J. Nocera, of Braintree, died June 12, 2009. Husband of the late Grace (Messina). Loving father of Leo Nocera and Michael Nocera, both of Braintree. Brother of Edward "Jerry" Nocera of Weymouth. Brother-in-law of Francis X. Messina of Braintree. Dear grandfather of Michelle, Leo and Michael Anthony. Leo was born and raised in Weymouth and had lived in Braintree for 65 years. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and had retired from the Maintenance Department of the Braintree Public Schools. Services were held on June 14.

Mr. Nocera,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
