Dorothea Sulfaro Obituary

BRAINTREE Dorothea L. (Comerford) Sulfaro, age 78, of Braintree, died peacefully, Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Quincy Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in South Boston, raised and educated in Boston schools and was a graduate of Memorial High School. She has lived in Braintree for thirty-two years, previously in Hyde Park for seventeen years. Mrs. Sulfaro was a homemaker. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, reading and crossword puzzles. She was devoted to her family. Beloved wife for fifty-five years of Anthony J. Sulfaro. Devoted mother of Anthony J. Sulfaro, Jr. of FL, Paula Coffey and her husband Kenneth of Halifax, Steven A. Sulfaro and his wife Julie of Nashua, NH. Loving grandmother of Joseph, Rose, Daniel, Madison, Steven, and Christina. Sister of Ruth Comerford of Peterborough, NH. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Monday, August 24 at 8:15 am. Funeral Mass in Saint Thomas More Church, corner of Hawthorn Road & Elm Street, Braintree at 9 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Sunday 2 6 pm. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

To the Sulfaro family, ---I want you all too know that you are all in our prayers. I Loved "MOM" she was like a second mom to me. She was thoughtful, caring, loving and nuturing and a whole lot more. You were all there for me during my losses. So sorry to see her gone so soon. I will miss her so very much. She will always be in our hearts. Rest In Peace and God Bless you Dorothea (MOM).
